MVS SYSTEM CODES -S237

An error occurred in end-of-volume processing of a magnetic tape data set.

Possible causes & Solution:
1. The block count of the tape label did not agree with that of the DCB. One or more blocks may have been skipped during processing.
2. An incorrect volume serial number was specified in the volume parameter of the DD statement.
3. An incorrect volume was mounted.
4. The DSN was misspelled.
1) Verify that the DSN is spelled correctly, and that the correct volume(s) are specified and mounted. Correct any errors, and resubmit the job.
2) If all the data set information appears correct, resubmit the job specifying a different device in the unit parameter of the JCL. If this does not correct the error, re-create the data set.

Left click and Right click tips.

As we all know that Left mouse button is easy to click and drag, select and for everything.
Do know one thing,while dragging any file or folder from one place to another right mouse button is better compared to left mouse button.

For example-There are 10 folders in a drive with name folder1 to 10, and i am moving folder1 to folder2 .So i drag the folder 1 over folder 2,it is moved.

If you have only two folders it is easy no issues,but if you have some 10 or more folders while dragging ,unfortunately you released the left mouse button.The file moved to some folder and you dont know where it is moved and you have to check all folders.

So, what to do is..Use your right mouse button for dragging file or folder.if you released the right mouse button as left mouse button in the middle,it will ask you like Copy here,move here,Create shortcuts here .So that you will know where you are moving the files or folders.

Try this in your system.

Using HashSet

HashSet class is a concrete implementation of Set interface. It creates a collection that uses a hash table for storage. Hash table stores information by using a mechanism called hashing. In hashing, the informational content of a key is used to determine a unique value, called its hash code. The hash code is then used as an index at which the data associated with the key is stored. The transformation of key into its hash code is performed automatically. You never see the hash code itself. The advantage of hashing is that it allows the execution time of basic operation, such as add(), contains(), remove(), and size() to remain constant even for large sets.

HashSet is not synchronized. If more than one thread wants to access it at the same time then it must be synchronized externally.

Using TreeSet

TreeSet stores objects in a sorted manner. TreeSet stores its elements in a tree and they are automatically arranged in a sorted order.
TreeSet is not synchronized. If more than one thread wants to access it at the same time then it must be synchronized externally.

import java.util.*;
public class DemoTreeSet {
public static void main(String[] args) {
TreeSet t1 = new TreeSet();
t1.add("ggg");
t1.add("aaa");
t1.add("ddd");
t1.add("bbb");
t1.add("nnn");
t1.add("lll");
System.out.println("Contents of treeset");
Iterator it1 =t1.iterator();
while(it1.hasNext()){
Object o1 = it1.next();
System.out.println(o1);
}
}
